Strahan was once described as “Tasmania’s Eldorado” (John Ware 1905), the region today is a highlight of any trip to Tasmania and just a beautiful part of the world.
With our Grand Old Lady having pride of place amongst an acre of gardens, atop a hill close to town and on the edge of the wilderness, we are surrounded by all that is Strahan.
Although the House has stood here for over 100 years our story has just begun, we now embark on a great adventure as we open the doors for new guests to visit and look forward to sharing this experience with you
